9+ years crafting immersive digital experiences across
PC, Mobile, VR & WebGL — from real-time multiplayer
engines to AI-driven virtual worlds.
01About Me
I'm a game developer who started building digital worlds in 2015 and never stopped. My work spans real-time multiplayer engines, AI-driven characters, VR installations, and WebGL experiences — always pushing the boundary between technology and play.
I specialize in turning complex game design requirements into clean, performant systems. Whether building an anti-cheat engine for wager games, deploying a 3D AI virtual assistant via VR, or compressing a 12GB MMORPG down to 3GB on mobile — I deliver.
02Game Mechanics
A curated showcase of game mechanics and interactive systems I've engineered. Each demo highlights a core gameplay feature.
Drag-and-drop inventory with item stacking and equipment slots, plus full character customization — swap gear, outfits, and appearance with PlayFab-backed persistence.
Real-time multiplayer state synchronization for an MMORPG — player movement, actions, and world state kept consistent across clients using Photon PUN 2.
An AI-driven 3D virtual tutor with real-time facial animation and speech. STT/TTS pipelines deliver natural conversation, deployed to both WebGL and VR via AWS.
A casual survival loop — resource gathering, escalating threats, and a tight risk/reward cycle designed for quick, replayable pick-up-and-play sessions.
A VR rhythm game inspired by Beat Saber — beat-mapped note spawning synced to music, slice detection, and scoring, customized for mindfulness research.
A physics-driven surfboard control mechanic — balance, carving, and wave-riding momentum with responsive tilt-based handling and a satisfying sense of speed.
A side-scrolling jetpack shooter mechanic — thrust-based vertical movement, projectile combat, and obstacle dodging with smooth, responsive 2D controls.
A 3D character driven by a real-time emotion system — facial expressions and reactions that adapt dynamically to conversation, sentiment, and context.
A click-and-drag aiming mechanic — trajectory preview, drag-to-power input, and satisfying launch feedback for projectile and slingshot-style gameplay.
A data-driven enemy wave spawner — object pooling, escalating difficulty curves, weighted spawn points, and configurable pacing for endless and round-based modes.
A turn-based combat engine — initiative ordering, action and ability selection, damage resolution, and state-driven turn flow built for RPG-style battles.
Multi-phase boss combat AI — telegraphed attack patterns, phase transitions on health thresholds, and adaptive aggression driven by a finite state machine.
A 2D pool game with physics-based ball collisions, aim-and-power shot input, pocket detection, and turn-based scoring for competitive play.
A digital take on the traditional African Ayo (Mancala) board game — seed-sowing logic, capture rules, win detection, and a faithful turn-based rule engine.
The classic African Whot card game — deck shuffling, hand management, special-card rules (hold on, pick two, general market), and turn validation.
A story-driven VR research experience built to study empathy and compassion — immersive narrative, presence-driven interaction, and integrated data measurement.

04My Studio
An independent game development studio I founded — building original IPs, delivering client work, and using game dev as a medium for education and storytelling.
Terkion Games is an independent game development studio I founded with the goal of bringing original game ideas and creative projects to life. What started as a personal passion project has grown into a creative studio that develops original IPs, collaborates with clients, and assembles talented teams to build high-quality interactive experiences.
Over the years, the studio has expanded beyond solo development — taking on commercial game projects, hiring artists and developers when needed, and delivering client work across gaming, VR, AI, and interactive media. Terkion has served as both a creative playground for experimentation and a professional agency for businesses looking to build engaging digital experiences.
Today, Terkion Games is evolving once again — with a growing focus on leveraging game development as a medium for education and social media content creation. By documenting the creative process and sharing technical insights, the studio aims to inspire the next generation of African game developers while continuing to build original games and interactive experiences.
